Come join members of the education and conservation communities of Blount County along with representatives of Freshwaters Illustrated, Conservation Fisheries Inc, Little River Watershed Association for a viewing of the breathtaking documentary Hidden Rivers. Freshwaters Illustrated will also be sharing newly released educational resources for teachers designed to be used in conjunction with Hidden Rivers.
Hidden Rivers is a 1-hour film that explores the rivers and streams of the Southern Appalachian region, North America’s most biologically rich waters, and features footage from Blount County's own Little River. The film follows the work of conservation biologists and explorers throughout our region - revealing both the beauty and vulnerability of this aquatic life - and how many people are finding ways to protect these ecosystems.
