Join the Little River Watershed Association to help clean up Coulter's Bridge! In honor of Earth Month, we want to help beautify an area that is a multi-use site for our community and an important put-in for boaters!
So come out and help us clean up the Little River on both the land and water! Thanks to funding received from TWRA, we want to help clean up the Little River watershed and we need YOUR help!
Land Lovers: We will have a team dedicated to removing the trash at a site where two feet will be firmly planted on the ground. All supplies will be provided, and snacks will be provided!
River Rats: Paddlers with their own boats and shuttles are also welcome to help out at this event! Trash bags and grabbers will be provided for anyone that floats to use as they see debris down the river, but again boat or shuttles will not be provided. If you have an inflatable raft that could help take on some trash, this would be the time to use it! Paddlers can park, take out their boats and leave their trash at River John's island, 4134 Cave Mill Road. Snacks and water will be placed at the gazebo on the island for boaters after they get out of the water.
COVID-19 Note: Volunteers on land are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing during this event. Volunteers will be required to fill out a COVID-19 waiver before participating. Boaters are not required to wear a mask while on the river.
